I hadn't seen this film for fifty years, but still remembered its impact on me at the time I first watched it in a theater. As an adult, I am more appreciative of the emotional complexities imparted to the lead roles by Tom Tryon and Gloria Talbott. Historically, I know that Tom Tryon, at first, did not like his role and barely serviced it. As the filming progressed, though, he responded to the quality acting of his co-star and to the story line of hostile extra-terrestrial visitors, one among whom (his character) began to empathize more and more with the humans whose world they had invaded. What began as a routine B movie turned into a Classic of Fifties Sci Fi and it still has the same relevance today that it did then: LOVE gives us our special uniqueness and raises us above the parameters of mere survival, in a bleak universe.Read full review

I Married a Monster from Outer Space, is old movie from 1958, you would see at drive-n theater on double bill as, I did as a kid with The Blob. Good for a kid to see in the old days and good to see today, hold up fairly well today to. A fun old sci-fiction movie from the past.

The title suggests that this might be a comedy. But this fits in with most 1950s sci-fi/monster movies. If you like those, you will like this.

DVD came quickly and was in perfect shape. The movie itself is a fun, campy 1950's sci-fi about a woman who marries an alien who is a clone of her fiance.
