This is an excellent book. It is very well written. In my opinion, I think that Frank does a much better job writing than Mike Collins (regarded by many to be the most poetic of the ‘60s astronauts). I wish that my used copy came with a dust jacket, but I made my own.

A great personal story, Borman and his crew mates were the Charles Lindbergh’s of space, first to the moon. Later in his career Borman as president and then CEO saves Eastern Airlines from failure only to have a power hungry union boss take him out and destroyed the airline. one of America’s most iconic airlines!

I am a former EAL employee during the years Frank Borman was Pres. The book is surprisingly forthcoming and honest, filled with personal memories... but not to the point of making me, the reader, uncomfortable. There are all kinds of courage, not only flying into space. Being open to everyone, humble, is a journey all of its own. The kind of courage Col Borman has shown in this book is of "The Highest Order." (I still have my plack award you gave me, Col Borman, and it was an honor working with you.)
