The rice cooker was a wedding gift and, in my opinion, a very good gift that should last as long as the new couple's lifetime wedding vows. This small 4 cup rice cooker is the ideal appliance for the newlyweds.

Bought this in a pinch since my other rice cooker died. Like the stainless look and the non-stick pot - easy to clean. Nice grey textured serving spoon also. I cook rice frequently so it sits on my countertop most of the time and this square design is quite attractive. One thing I really like is the retractable electic cord....keeps the look neat when not in use. I don't think I will ever buy another round-shaped rice cooker again and for this price it sure beats those other expensive cookers out there. The 6-cup size is perfect for a small family's everyday use. I would definitely recomment this item. Cuisinart makes a great line of small appliances..by the time I am done replacing all my old appliances with stainless, five of the six will be Cuisinart brand.

I have always used a rice cooker for my rice. I bought this one because it was smaller and stainless steel. I also like cuisinart products. It looks very nice and cooks rice perfectly. the steamer attachment is great. It is just the right size, even when cooking to it's limit, rice cooks evenly, then stays warm. It is easy to clean. It does not hold fingerprints.
