Someone gave me this book when I was going through chemotherapy and it was so wonderfully encouraging. I in turn have given several copies to others going through difficult times. I have heard such great reports from the people who received this book. One lady started a support group using this book as the guide. I am a writer myself, and give this book the highest praise on several levels. It is a touching story of hope transparently told by Nancy Guthrie. It well written, easy to digest, and small enough to keep it with you and read in waiting rooms, and other places where you have a moment. Even if you are not experiencing a crisis it is still great inspiration.
This book was recommended by a friend. I feel it is a book every Christian should read. No matter what disappointments or trials you have experienced, the author relates how God had a purpose for what Job went through, and he has a purpose for us. The book helps us see how we can grow closer to God through our experiences. The book is short and easy to read.
