Many of us dream about starting our own businesses, running our own companies, and doing something different from working 9-5 everyday, but many of us wonder, how do you bring my ideas into reality? I've remember countless times where I thought an idea would be cool but never really knew how to go about it. Rhonda Abrams really gives a person the tools and skills necessary to go about making a good business plan and trying to start a business. I bought this book for a class, but also to really know how people even begin to start making their dreams come true. As with any idea, you have to really go out there and figure out how to make it work. Things like: How much is it going to cost? Who do you need to get your plan off the ground? What are you going to do for funding? are all questions that you need to answer and address in your business plan to really determine if you have a solid, workable idea. Going through the first few chapters of this book Abrams shows you the questions that you need to ask yourself and some of the websites that you should visit to find some answers to these questions. She also breaks some of these sections down into manageable worksheets that you can fill out to make sure you've thought about and covered all the bases. Lastly, you also get to see a sample section of a business plan in Abrams book so you're not totally left in the dark. If you really want to start a business and make sure that you know how to write a successful business plan, or even determine if your idea is really viable, then this is a must read book for you.Read full review
