This is one of my absolute favorite short films from Walt Disney, I saw it as a kid and then, my daughters and grandchildren enjoyed it as well. It's fun and exciting, one of the best!!!!! I am a homeschooler, and decided to use Washington Irving's stories for my October unit. I wanted to use some cinematic treatments to accompany the reading. I'd seen this version as a child, and thought it would be a nice addition. It arrived quickly....and, was just as I remembered it! It was in excellent shape....still in it's cardboard sleeve...and it will continue to be viewed long after the lessons are over!
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is onne of my favorite Books but to see the book come alive in movie version is absolutely Great. When you read a book your mind creates an internal picture but when you actually see the Movie You can really appreciate even more especially the colors, the voice of a narator and sounds of the night and details which only can be created by Disney.
