I highly recommend this cookbook to anyone, not just diabetics. I bought the book because friends, who are not diabetic, were preparing these recipes because they knew them to be more healthy, and they wanted to lose weight. I thought that sounded like a great idea, so I borrowed it from the library first. Loved it! Each recipe tells you how long it will take to prepare it and cook it. Every recipe I've prepared has been wonderful and well liked by everyone in the family. The recipe for 5 Spice Chicken Soup is like a very good pho soup. The salmon recipes are delicious. Please, try this cookbook!
I don’t think this is a very good buy or cookbook. It has more snacks then anything just not what I was wanting. I wanted Diabetic recipes for everyday cooking . Sorry maybe it should have been a different book.

This cookbook is very easy to read. However, the recipes have way too many carbs for a Double-Diabetic like myself. Every time I find a recipe that sounds good, and there are a lot of them, I check out the carbs. I find that I cannot make the recipe, due to the high carbs.
The books tells me everything that I needed to learn about cooking for myself since I am diabetic. The book arrived on time and was in good condition.

I purchased this cookbook to help me plan healthy meals for the diabetic in my family but also wanted recipes that taste good too. Not only does this cookbook have great recipes, in the back on the book it covers the basics about diabetes and how to prepare meals that would keep the blood sugar levels under control. I would recommend this cookbook to everyone.
