I'm a big Stephane Grappelli fan and have a lot of his albums. This one is a real treat. This is a more modern recording, some twenty years after Django played with him at the Hot Club of France. So the recording quality is better. The album features a number of classics: Ain't Misbehaving, My Heart Stood Still, and A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square. Grappelli fans should also check out Violin Summit where he plays with Jean Luc Ponty and Stuff Smith.
