Baldacci has a way of keeping you interested. You do not want to put this book down. The characters are interesting and creative and described as though you can relate to them. It is easy reading with the ocasional tough word that keeps you on your feet. The chapters are fairly short and the book flows well and in an order that slowly brings it all together. I would highly suggest this book if you like a good mystery thru a government conspiracy type style-AWESOME!!! Be sure and check out the other Camel Club stories later!!
I purchased this book because it was part of a series of books, and I had already read one of them I liked it so much I want to read them all in order I am now a huge fan of Mr.David Baldacci can't wait to read the next one.Camel Club had my attention from front to back excellent read and nothing in this book that I would not want my daughter to read and now she is reading the series I think that when an author can capture multiple generations he should be praised.
I went into "Camel Club" with high expectations after reading "Last Man Standing". In a nutshell, I found the story was interesting an engaging, despite my general dislike of the "conspiracy theory" mindedness of the plot. Baldacci spins a great story, and his character development is done skillfully. That said, I came away from Camel Club feeling entertained by not enthralled like I was with some of his other books. It wouldn't be first on my Baldacci must-read list, but it was still a good book, and well worth the time.
Another great book by Baldacci. The Camel Club stories are politically based mystery dramas set in Washington, DC. The characters are unique and rememorable.
