A compelling history about a historic life. Few men forged the course of American life, politics, and culture more than Teddy Roosevelt. The written prose is suitably bound as only Easton Press can bind.

Book was in great shape. A little heavy reading for my sons report, but I enjoyed it. It does get into a lot of politics.

Pringle is negative toward Roosevelt. I think the book was written too close to the actual events and therefore the author's biases drive the commentary. Perhaps he was seeking shock value. Roosevelt was a great man who led a unique life: he isn't enshrined on Mt. Rushmore for nothing. I think he deserves a more objective biography.
I am a HUGE Roosevelt family fan and have a lot of books in my personal collection. they range from very old (1800s) to this book. Awesome family with values, and I enjoyed the book very much.
