The box set is for Nirvana fanatics who want to get the bottom of the barrel stuff. It is satisfying if you are a Nirvana fetishist - but I don't know that I would recommend it to the average person out there: sound quality on some of the tracks is terrible - versions of the songs are rather primitive (compared to studio recorded ones, or even official lives), homemade videos are just that... simply homemade, at a time when the band wasn't particularly brilliant. If you want to get into the lives of Kurt, Chris, Chad and Dave though - I would recommend this product. Essential - no doubt - if you are a grunge fan & want to get a complete picture...
