Since all X-Men fans seem to love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and will watch anything just to see him, this movie is worth a look. I admit to similar feelings; however, be advised that this is NOT your typical X-Men film. Instead of a huge cast of mutants with a variety of interesting powers, we get Logan who is LOSING his powers, VS a host of Japanese samurai. The plot is more like an Asian action adventure. For most of it, there is no real reason to have Wolverine as the hero; you could have substituted Jet Li or Chow Yun-Fat. Though Logan does have a mutant antagonist, this person spends most of the film following him around without catching up to him. So you don't get mutant action; you get Logan fighting regular Japanese thugs. Logan meets two Japanese women, Mariko and Yukio. Ok, this is just my personal preference, but one of these women is interesting and the other is bland, and Logan picks the bland one, which doesn't seem to mesh with his prior taste in females. To make a long story short, THE WOLVERINE does not seem to fit with the style of the other X-Men films. However, if you like Asian action films, it's pretty good.Read full review
Takes place after X men the last battle. Wolverine does not disappoint in this movie with some awesome unforgettable scenes. Very different background than we're used to which is cool, the other characters in are awesome as well.

If you like the wolverine you will love this film. The added bonus is that most of it take place in Japan. their are some engaging Japaneses characters. You wont be disappointed so go for it.
