This movie has been panned by some critics, but this is totally unwarranted. It's a unique take on vampire lore. The actors are very good, the special effects are top notch, and the soundtrack is stunning, especially the hard rock which plays an integral part of the plot. This thing rocks HARD. A centerpiece of the plot is that vampires are destined to be alone for eternity, a dismal state of affairs, and yet love brings two of them together for eternity; yes, it's a beautiful love story too. This is a great movie in every respect. If you like vampire movies this is a MUST HAVE.
