I purchased two of these. Sailor Pens are generally of very good quality and these are up to the usual standard in almost all regards. The flow was well adjusted in and the parts of the pen are all well engineered. I purchased two of these and one had the tipping material a little further toward the top (the dress-surface) of the nib which feels a bit odd on the page, whereas the other feels more like my usual experience of fountain pens. I don't know if this is normal sample variation or not. Because I can't be sure of the general consistency of Sailor broad nibs at this stage I haven't selected "yes" for the question "Do you recommend it?"
