The author appears to have done as good an investigation of the JFK assasination and conspiracy cover-up, as is presently possible. Although I learned many new things, especially regarding the Maryland autopsy, the author is unable to establish specific responsibility. No one has to-date. There is a lot of repetition, for example, with the autopsy evidence and conclusions. Stating the same thing 6 times does not make it any more true, but it does add pages to the book. I had no problem with the author's perspective, and a majority in the country would probably agree. Missing is detail on the meeting the night before in Dallas, which I consider highly important. Also, the FBI's part in things before and after should be reflected in Hoover's disgraceful conduct, which has come out after his death. One last point is the author's grammar and sentence construction leaves a lot to be desired, especially for a Harvard man, and perhaps the book could have been better proof-read. Overall, I think this book is interesting reading, but could be shorter than 550 pages.Read full review
I bought this book so I could learn more about President Kennedy's Assassination on that dreadful day. The book goes into all the fact's that have misled the American public for all these years. I was only 13 years old when this tragic event happened, but I can remember it like yesterday. It is the best book I have read so far concerning President Kennedy's Assassination. I feel the author is only relying on fact's not hearsay information concerning this dark day in American History.
The most details I have ever read and they seem very accurate. Now I have much more information to help me figure out how things happened. The best book on the death of President Kennedy. I would give it ten stars if possible. Alot of research went into the book. It seemed to be very hard work. Thank you for writting this book. It's fasinating to read. It was hard to put down. The only book you will need on the murder.

HIGH TREASON 2 is the follow up book by Harrison E Livingstone to his co-authored High Treason with Robert Groden. This book has better photos than the original, including colour autopsy pics. Livingstone puts a very plausible case for the conspiracy theories surrounding the JFK assassination, in the wake of the Oliver Stone film.
