I usually don't read books like this, but i'm running out of series, and i love series, and i am giving this one a try and it's proving to be very interesting. I'm not usually a reader of murder, but it's ok, i'm more into the characters and their relationships. the gentleman caller is revealed towards the end but his capture is dragged out. and i was kinda pissed that the police survelience let him get away. i'm also lost that these books are old enough that cell phones were not in play then. but the casanova is held out until almost the last page. i wanted to SCREAM WHEN the heroine decides the stay home alone, and the COPS are too stupid to put a watch on her house.Read full review
This book is also an easy read. If you don't like real explicit descriptions or nasty stuff stay away from this one. It's a lot more detailed than some of his other books. Can give you bad dreams especially if you don't like snakes and you're female!!!!

If you are looking for one of the best murder mystery novels this is a great one. I find that if you cannot put a book down for a minute it is a great book. I read through this book overnight and couldn't stop reading. The Alex Cross series is so good, i have purchased all of the Alex Cross series books and am on the third book and i have to say James Patterson is one of the great novel writers. I would and have recommended this book to family and friends. I hope my review has helped you out in some way, thank you for reading. Enjoy reading this book, I Did!
