It’s possible that I like this book just because it somehow seems to be a connection with Pete Seeger. Maybe it’s because it appears to have been typed and kind of hand-assembled. There is a lot, a Lot, of material in the book, so much that, if there’s a flaw, it’s that maybe he tried to cover too many bases. But it’s a great book, especially for the folk hobbyist banjo player, I think.

Having a guitar background, his style is more compatible with the way I am used to playing. I'm sure I will get many enjoyable hours from using this book and his method of playing.
