Your First Fakebook is similar to the Easy Fakebook, being a collection of 100 or so American Standard songs in Key of C. I bought it to learn additional songs. I am glad I already had the Easy Fakebook, because there is no appendix in the book to show the notes comprising the various chords, a definite shortcoming for the novice player. I can recommend the book (with the reservation noted above) for anyone who wants to play songs on the piano with relative ease almost immediately and without requiring prolonged practice and excessive drills.
Love finding books with a lot of songs, as I'm trying to cut back on the amount of single sheet music I have. Trying to down size.
