it´s an doble lp or one cd that opened a new market to almost every famous band in the 90´s and gave thousands of new followers to this band that wasn´t reconised by the wrong reasons like one more rock fm band but a group of great musicians and lead singer and writter that without this doble lp many,many,many people still today wouldn´t know their work, i alredy knew the band because some friends of mine had a club with only hard rock to trash and hardcore punk metal, and they had almost every lp from everyband ,so i already knew them but not my cup of tea,and one day i listen to it in a radio show that was going to the air at 1 o´clock in the morning where i also heard for the first time so many bands like SST records one´s to subpop,and in the midle of so many new diferent styles one night i heard this doble lp and knowing the band i get caught in their melody´s and sfter this doble lp ,maybe i bought my first cd that only in 94 i stopped buying records this because i had no cd player and when listening to dream syndicate´s live at the rajis doble lp i found that in this lp version cd there were more songs so i started buying cd´s,after buying a pioneer pd-7300 cd player that still works perfectelly today and left the vynil behind this till i discover that the record had more faithfull sound with a 74 pioneer turntable with all original not a new cartridge or stylus the pc-30 and pn-30 from this brand ,this first with well produced live albums and later with the lack of guitar effects and distortion that i was used to listen in record like the electric lp from the Cult and first DaD lp(disneyland after dark),and for the one´s who don´t know early cd were much better this talking about the material they were made, so this five man acoustical jam was a change in my ways of listen to music,like first listen to the bands then trash them because only for looking retarted didn´t meant they were bad song writters, if you can put yourselfs in late 80´s or early 90´s this was a very spectacular lp that made me curious and the next day i went to a friend house a get all his tesla lps and wanted to hear the original versions of this acoustical versionsRead full review
