Great fun of horror tales from time horror movies were fun on a rain dark night, at home with light out. Just good time with your girl good friends. Sit back and enjoy. 5 out of 5 a winner.

CLASSIC 1970'S HORROR ANTHOLOGY. There are not a lot of jump scares -- so common today -- but there is a lot of good make up work. Acting is very good by most of the star in both films. While these are not the slasher films of the 1980's; there is a good amount of gore as the early 1970's really brought that into the mainstream scary movie. The Tales from the Crypt has segments that build slowly, but the payoffs are pretty good. Only the Crypt Keeper is miscast. Vault of Horror is also memorable for the tales it tells. I do recommend it as well. If you are building a horror collection this Blu-ray is part of a good foundation.

What's better than one Amicus film? How about two classics for the price of one on blu-ray. Hammer Studios first cousin Amicus did so well with "Tales From The Crypt" in 1972 that they went back to the well in 1973 for "Vault Of Horror". Which movie is better? Who cares?.....because they're both great. As an extra bonus Vault of Horror includes the unrated version as well. Worth your time to hunt down this blu-ray.

Over all I couldn't be happier with this movie. I love the stories and the acting is first class. The picture quality is excellent as well as the sound. I am very satisfied with the product.

A horror movie made in the 70's that still creeps me out. A true classic!
