I actually only bought THIS item because I had bought the game before and lost the code. I haven't even opened it so this review is based on the GOTY edition I have, and have played. The game is wonderful, I enjoyed every moment of it. The only complaints I can give, and it's a minor one that can be corrected is that the "Choke" button and the "attack" button are the same so you may want to choke someone for a stealth run and end up alerting the person because you attacked. Once changed to another key, the issue was solved. It's not an easy game to play if you intend to do full stealth and I had to look at a few "let's plays" to figure it out but i got through it with only 2 kills throughout the entire thing and that was only because I tranquilized someone and they fell off the roof :(

This is one of the best, well written and engrossing games that I've ever played, and I've played all the 1'st person shooter types since the original Castle Wolfenstein. Great story line, and many different ways to complete your goals. The AI is pretty good as are the objectives. It's a little bit of a role playing game, a shooter, stealth, and puzzle solver all rolled into one. If you're the "boss fight" at the end of every level lover, then you may not like this game, because there are no bosses. Instead, this is more of a stealth, thought provoking game similar to "Thief". Graphics are just OK, and may seem a little dated, but they seem to compliment this game. This is one of the rare games that I tried not to play too much at once, only to make it last longer. I truly hope for a sequal to this excellent game. Oh and one more thing, it seems to have been written for PC as it has "save anytime" games, not the check point saves so common with games written for consols. Hi There, I've played Dishonored PC version and it's a best stealth FPS game. The game has two different endings based on how you play. Combat skills, Magical Powers and weapons are simply great. Over all the game environment is good. This game has different ways to accomplish the missions. I Seriously Enjoyed each and every Part Of The Game,From Stealth Moves To Corvo's Amazing Powers.Killing Enemies Silently with help of Stealth Moves was the best part of The Game,So many ways to Accomplish Your Objective and Reach Your Checkpoint. The Graphics of The Game Really Impressed Me,Nice Oil Painting Artstyle.Beautiful Sun Effects and Lovely Water Looks,All Thanks To The Lovely and The Amazing Unreal Engine That Really Gave The Game a Brilliant Look .A Game That Every Gamer Should Try ,A Strong Contender for Game Of The Year. I had high expectations for Dishonored based on the reviews I saw, but was disappointed. Dishonored is an action, first-person game. You play Corvo Attano, bodyguard for the Empress, who's framed after she's murdered and seek revenge on the framers. Predictable story. Besides weapons, you can employ magic similar to Bioshock 2. However, the story isn't as imaginative as Bioshock, the graphics are less than spectacular and the Unreal engine is showing its age. I was expecting a more open world. However, besides some limited side exploration you're shunted along like any FPS. The NPC costumes are from the 1700s, but there's modern technology like a PA system, which is disconcerting. I gave up about a third that way through.
