You cant go wrong with two movies for the price of one...two great stories of one little orphan girl who hits the jackpot. My favorite is Annie...and in my opinion its Carol Burnett who steals the show...a drunken lusty money hungry slightly dishonest middle aged Orphanage matron who dislikes kids. No mans safe around her including Daddy Warbucks and a hard knock life for the kiddies...Burnadette Peters who frequented The Carol Burnett show also sails through her role as a sticky fingered girl friend to Carols brother the Rooster. Lots of laughs, smiles and humming along to a great musical score. This is one of those movies you'll watch again and again.
I love the DVD Anniversary version of the Classic movie Annie. The audio is so clear than the VCD copy we have. There's a bit more color too. I didnt enjoy the Annie: A Royal Adventure. its like a cheap copy cat of the first movie. Though Joan Collins was part of it, the movie wasnt written well. Story line is so flat. Key characters like Secretary Grace isnt in the movie. The actor who played Oliver Warbucks didnt show the same personality as in the first movie. I would definitely buy ANNIE again but not this double DVD because buying the 2nd Annie is a waste of money. Oh, i forgot to mention, the 2nd movie isnt a musical. they lip sync the theme song towards the end of the movie. How sad is that?

Love Annie! One of the best movies ever. Got this for a 6 year old and she loves all of the songs. A classic movie that the whole family can enjoy.
This item was in great shape and mailed in a timely manner. My daughter is a huge Annie Fan and this was perfect for her to be able to have both of her favorite movies on one disc and be able to take them anywhere with her.
