It did contain information I did not see elsewhere, and it did contain a few things that were contrary to what I had seen in other places, so I now have to figure out which is right. Over all most of it was spot on with what I have extensively researched and read, plus some good, new stuff. T The writing style is a little different than what I'm used to in documentary things. She seemed to use what I would normally find in a novel to describe things, like the background was really important, but I can see where other readers would love that. An example, something she did not say, but to give you the idea. "The sunshine sprinkled through the tree limbs, leaving drops of splashing light on the ground." This is from something else, but you get the idea. The descriptions were at times a little beyond what I expected as a history buff, but I have no complaints. Nice read! Read full review
