This is a good book for how things work in a cars suspension but as it covers everything and how it works it gives a lot of detail but it will not tell you the best suspension part or parts for your car but it will talk about all parts and what they do I have a Chevelle and want the best for the suspension but the book gives you info and a bunch of parts that will work on your car but does not pick the part for you You will have to chose the parts that you think will work for you for example there are a lot of trailing arms from different company's they all have pros and con You can't use race car arms on a street car or vise versa To me the book is kinda boring to much info on things I really don't care about If you are a real suspension car guy this is for you and if you want to learn about the suspension this is for you but for me I just want a get to the parts I need for my car and it just is not there but a good guide to help you get thereRead full review

Purchased an 85 Monte Carlo SS....purchased book to narrow down suspension upgrades.....I find the book to be to general, but good reading.......I would have enjoyed it better if it was available at the local library, where I could read it for free,, make notes pertaining to my car, and return it The price I paid was the least expensive on ebay,,ie... 20.00 bucks so not a bad deal A much better book available for my interest was the book....GM '''G''' Body Upgrades, covering the GN, Monte Carlo, 442, and Gran Prix ''G'' bodies
