Average book, not as good as movie
If there's one thing Jeff Shaara's good at, it's making you sense the emotions of each character in the book. He really draws you into their minds, and you begin to relate to the struggles they have and the challenges they face. But if you don't enjoy reading about the Civil War, this book is probably not for you.

Excellent book of ACW. Gives the characters of the movie incredible insight into their thoughts and adversities they endured.
