Classic Golf Instruction Book. Written back in the 1960's, the system still works today. As a lifetime slicer, the four 'Magic Moves' fixed my swing flaws, and now I'm hitting the ball longer and straighter. Simple, straightforward instructions make this system easy to comprehend. Lots of great illustrations to clarify the text, as well. Highly recommended.

Unless you are into paying tons of money to golf instructors I suggest you look into this. Along with Ben Hogans basics (which is a must) this book will solve many problems (over the top, lack of lag and power). I read and reread many parts. I put sticky tape on the essential and most important parts and there are many. Joe Dante really has it figured out and addresses all the crucial points that plague the duffer. When I incorporated many of the techniques I was shocked beyond belief at how straight and powerful I was swinging and the ball flight was doing what it was supposed to do. Highly recommend....... I've ordered several as I like to share them with my friends....I may need more.

Having searched for 40+ years for a golf swing theory that resonated with me I purchased The Four Magic Moves on a whim. I can state without equivocation that buying this book was the best thing I ever did to improve my golf game. I have most of the gimmicks available (hinged clubs, weighted clubs, wrist wraps, etc.) but have gained no significant results. At nearly 70 yrs old I have gotten to as low as a 5 hcp, but I never really had a swing I believed in, until now. The accepted and taught wrist break never made sense to me, it seems to apply to hammering nails or cutting wood, not striking golf balls, whereas the first magic move does make sense to me and better yet it works. If you already have a game you like, don't buy this book because it doesn't teach methods you are currently using; however, if you are still searching, buy this book and give it a fair chance. It works! I am twice as straight as I was and haven't lost a yard of distance.Read full review
