This late 1960s Christmas album by the Sinatra family seems to be a typical colleciton of tunes with solid, if uninspired performances by Frank Sinatra and his three children. I'm not sure if there's any real standouts here, But Sonny Burke's producton and Nelson Riddle's orchestration lift this collection from the mundane. Frank Sintra's older voice carries this quartet through Whatever Happened to Christmas?, for example. Frank Sinatra and daughtter, Nancy, seem to carry the family through the high notes. Although Tina and Frank Jr. seem to be along for the ride, they manage to make several contributions.
This cd is priceless for many reasons. One its Frank Sinatra and family, DCC mastering with gold disc for excellent sound quality. This is classic christmas music puts you in the right mood. Grab it now before this version is gone forever.

This is an excellent sonic recording of a great American dysfunctional family. In a season where our family enjoys filling our home with joy and love, there is little of those elements palpable on this CD. We played this once; now we'll go back to playing CD's that mirror our hopes for a bright, joyful season.
Very good purchase

I bought this cd because I had the album when it first came out and I no longer had it. When I seen that I could get it on a cd I jumped at the chance to get it. Their version of The Twelve Days Of Christmas is unforgetable. I highly recommend this cd if you are a fan of Frank or Nancy or Frank Jr.
