I purchased 2 sets of these sites 1 for a S&W M&P 9 mm SHIELD and a S&w 40ve (2nd Gen). They fit perfectly and are so very bright. During the day the dots are visible and work as well as the factory sites but when in low light most certainly in darkness they really make a huge difference. They are high quality metal and are a very good replacement for the sites on the S&W 40ve vs having a non metal factory rear site. They make a great improvement on the 9mm Shield they are shaped just like the original factory equipment so there is no change if you are familiar with them.

Good product, Good price. When You by this product, buy tools to replace it. I used punch to put in ,and failed, the bright site fell because it probably was not glued properly. This makes it impossible to find, so be careful when applying it.

I bought these based on the reviews. The quality and functionality are awesome. I would buy then again in a heartbeat, but I was disappointed that the tolerances were off. I damaged both front and back trying to get them in place. Found out that they were a little bigger than the stock sights so I had to file them down to get them to fit even thought they are supposed to fit the M&P. I wouldn't think S&W has different tolerances on the many different M&P models, but maybe they do. Before you install them, compare them to your stock sights and take a file to them before you get them stuck like I did.

Iv got a police trade in M&P fullsize 40 and it came with the Trijicon Hd tritium night sights. So i wanted to try out something different amd was recommended these by a police officer friend of mine, iv got those same trijicons on one of my 1911s and they are only a few months old out of the box, well comparing these truglos to the trijicons there is no comparison as far as brightness goes idk if my trijicons might have been some old stock or what cause they didn't have a date on the pack but regardless the Truglos have won me over 100%. Very easy to acquire the target with them in a completely dark room and the white dots are great in the day time. And buying them for half the price is even better, they were easy to install but i highly recommend if doing ut yourself use a sight pusher, it will make the whole process alot easier and faster and less frustrating. Long story short you will not be disappointed at all purchasing these sights.Read full review

Fit just like the originals, no stoning, sanding, or filing. I used a sight pusher, plastic tipped hammer, and gun oil. Nothing got scratched or marred and both sights fit perfectly. The front sight just gets set in the dovetail and pushed into place. The rear sight got tapped in a ways to start, and then pushed. Did not use a drift (if have a brass set), but i did use a woodworking vice to hold the slide while I worked on it. Woodworking vices have wood on the faces to prevent marring wood, so it definitely doesn't mar the slide. Take your time and be careful, this is not rocket science. This was on a Smith & Wesson M&P9 2.0. I am an IT guy, not a gunsmith.
