Although I'm not familiar with this particular edition of Angelucci/Matricardi's work (not forgetting the superb illustration work by Tatangelo/Conzentino), I've owned for a while now a Spanish edition by Espasa Calpe, named Aviones de todo el mundo, I, II & III. I can tell this is the most accurate, thorough and technically complete aircraft reference work I've ever came across. I can't even imagine how did they manage to put together such amount of information! I have to say this is a REFERENCE work. Don't expect but few anecdotes or any of the sort, since it focuses in technical specs and flying/mechanical performance, with the proper historical and sometimes political framing.
