A Legendary Story, A Classic in Animation
I love this movie. This is my first Disney animated film on Blu-ray with the coveted slipcover. I love everything about it. The story does suffer from minor production problems, mainly dealing with budget, voice casting and a reduction from T.H. White's intended story. Other than that, the story is great and lovable from everything Disney guarantees in quality. I do not see any problems with video or audio. It is clearly a better picture than what is seen in the short extra documentaries. The difference is noticeable. This BD video has everything: a poor future legendary king, Excalibur in a stone, and the wizard Merlin and his magic! The scene with Merlin returning from the future is priceless. This brings back memories of Back to the Future. Merlin warns us Bermuda is one big modern mess and Wart's story will be made into a motion picture. There are previews at the beginning and short films in the extra special features section. There is an interesting alternate opening storyboard sequence of how Wart/Arthur meets Merlin. "Music Magic" interviews Robert and Richard Sherman and the music that was cut from the film. "All About Magic" is a short excerpt featuring Walt Disney himself. The classic animation shorts included are "A Knight for A Day" starring Goofy and the famous "Brave Little Tailor" starring Mickey Mouse vs. Gustav the giant. I remember watching it with my mom when I was little. Brings back memories. Know my kids watch it. A scrawny kid that becomes kind with the help of a wizard. It's still tons of fun to watch.

The product in picture didn't match what I received. The Sword in the Stone Bluray clearly shows it having the slipcover on it. The one I received did not.😥
