Cold Steel is a very high quality brand and the walking stick is built to last. Beautifully built and nicely designed. The price is a bit high but it is a high quality piece. I am 5'10" and the height of this walking stick seems too high for me. I would not personally use it.

This is mostly in the vein of a swagger stick. It is functional as a walking stick for only short periods since the metal head is rather small and starts chewing into your hand. It won't work well as a cane. I dropped mine and the flat black finish now shows several unsightly light grey scratches.

I actually do like my Cold Steel 91STAP a lot. I recently had major back surgery and getting back to walking is sort of a challenge. I needed to shorten the 91STAP a little, I'm 5' 10" and as delivered is to long for me but, after shortening it a little I'm very comfortable taking it with me on a walk as good aid. The Pistol Grip is very fitting to the hand. I would recommend this to anyone needing or wanting a Great Walking Stick.
