Amazing book!!! John Gray is a genius! He tells us stuff we already knew, but had no idea how to use it. I have read it several times, and it has saved my relationship. My Sister in law read it 10 years ago and is still using the techniques to this day, my Brother, is still crazy in Love with her. It's not a load of self help mumbo jumbo as I've heard people say(that refuse to read it!) It is an intelligent, informative book about real life! I suggest you read it first before you make any comments about it, and see if it helps. It certainly helped me, and I've passed it on to Friends, who are also finding it very helpful....onto the next book!!!!
I'll keep it short. This is essentially the best book I've ever read. I had already read it and started to read his other books and I bought this one for a friend as I've been recommending it to everyone I know. Everything that John Gray says in this book is so useful and really feels true. The only negative is that it was written 20 years ago so the wording of the book and the extended metaphor used throughout the book is a little stale and weird sounding but as you read the book it really doesn't get in the way. I can't recommend this book enough for anyone wanting help in better understanding the opposite sex and dealing with human relationships in general. The book really helps you understand the different ways men and women think and the different things they want. Everyone should read it =)Read full review
Such a clever book that shines a light on both sides of the relationship story - helps you to really understand yourself more as well as seeing things from your partner's perspective - brings about so much peace! To understand is to forgive...I've sent this book to so many of my friends who have also loved it
