A private investigator who is very neat and orderly goes to investigate a noise complaint. Following through he returns and finds the old guy murdered and his dog Hooch watching over his dead master. The police want to shoot the dog, and Turner says he is the only eye witness to the scene and murder. He managed to capture the dog and bring the dog home. The dog terrorizes his home and makes a big mess. Quite funny (only if it doesn't happen to you). A great movie to own and watch several times.
