FLAP SAYS: REBA LAFFERTY WAS a daughter of privileged the only child of an adoring father. nord lafferty was already in his 50's when reba was born and he could deny her nothing. over the years he quietly settled her many scrapes with thelaw, but he wasn't there when she took the fall for a guy she was in love with for embezzleing and sent to ca institute for woman. kinsey is hired to bring her home. when she is released. while the reasoning behind the whole beginning is weird and far fetched, it's ok, and the book does hold your attention. althought once again, i'm thinking kinsey really really needs a cell phone and to call the cops once and a while. i'm hoping the relationship works out with cheney, but with kinsey you never know. also henry needs some love too.
So exciting!!

Sue Grafton is a very good writer. My wife and I have a complete set of hard cover books and an amost complete set of CD's. I like to listen to them either on CD or by Audiobook and she reads the books. But last night my wife pointed out that to CDs are not read word for word like the book. The story still gets across though. We both like Sue Graftons work. Thanks
