I was a little disappointed in this. I had hoped the creators of this would faithfully tell the original story of Turok's descent into a lost valley of dinosaurs. The focus was on a rival from another tribe. I would have prefered a journey through the valley, and his quest to escape. There was a lot of killing of humans by humans, making the dinosaurs seem civilizedby comparison. The original Turok survived the savages and beasts because of his ingenuity, his character honored native Americans because of this. There were no references to hoppers or honkers. We did not see him develope the poison arrows which were essential to his survival.I guess any Turok is better then no Turok, but I wish they could have made a 3d version like shrek or toy story, instead of a standard animation one.
I was thrilled to see a movie about one of my all time favorites finally come to fruition. It is animated and done well. I think with computer graphics it would/could have been awesome! The animation is simple but effective and blood is shown throughout so if you have a hangup about violence and bloodshed this is not meant for you. They picture Turok as a outcast from his tribe after an incident when he was a young teen and the Turok I remember was a wise and fearless warrior that never asked for confrontation but just did what was necessary when it kicked him in the butt. Overall it was entertaining and I hope to see more adventures in future. Perhaps they can do a Beowulf type of animation next time.that would be over the edge in exciting for this character.
Surprisingly good. Characters and story are well developed, even if no surprises.

I really did like the movie. A whole different view of Turok i didn't know. I was used to Turok of the video games with robots, demons, and binosaurs.. Over all it was good to see the Turok of old. Great battle scenes...
I liked the concept of the classic comic character returning to his roots. (somewhat). The animation was clean but not too detailed. I purchased this DVD because I am a fan of Valiant comics. Turok was a major part of Valiant comics in the '90s. I was not disapointed with the movie. Beware of viewing with young children scenes of bloody violence.
