Though the book was written in 2000, it still has provided great insight on for me to learn how to move on from my past history. I wasn't necessarily raised in a environment where I was suppose to become a perfectionist, but there were several factors that contributed greatly to my perfectionist side and all these years, though I worked hard, I felt like I couldn't make any mistakes. I felt that I had to perform greatly every time, but come to realize that no one really cares unless you have a job or was trying to get into a better college like I was trying to do. Failing forward has allowed me to see failure as a crucial stepping stones to success and to remove the narrow minded thinking that I had.
This book has stories of people who have fail and succeeded against insurmountable odds. This is a great read with examples of turning lifes struggles into successes. I have shared this book several times.

It's a great book. It's easy to read and very understandable. Everyone has their up's and down's in life...this book helps to keep one positively thinking even during negative times. Read it a chapter at a time to get the most out of your read. There is not much more to say other than you need to read this book...especially when life is going well for you and you think you have plateaued. I have nothing further to say but I must at least put a 100 words into this review so I am taking up space with these words.
This book changed my approach to day to day life. I bought this copy to share with my daughter but also to renew my focus on being willing to fail forward.
