When I got my first Auto World slot cars I was hyper excited on the level of detail they have. They also run well. However, when I started to read more and more about other people gripe on them, I started to scratch my head, and question my own taste. However: - I am a collector, not a racer, and least a professional slot car racer. I expect my slot cars to look good and function. Auto World cars do that and that's enough for me. I have never tried to do a fastest lap with them, and probably Tycos, AFX and Life Likes will do faster. - If you are looking for affordable, good looking cars, with also a very broad and diverse selection of castings - of course, more oriented toward American cars -, Auto World are a very good choice. Besides, if you want performance, you can swap the chassis for others and try harder on them.Read full review

Rare body style. Love this car. Hopefully it's the one that has the ho scale 429 MAX Wedge Hemi. 426 would be acceptable.
