My great uncle was in WW2, and was on the West Lashaway Merchant ship that was sunk in under 2 minutes due to U-66 German sub and their dangerous torpedoes. This book is about the adventure at sea on a life raft for almost 20 days after the vessel was sunk. It's an extremely easy read, and can finish this story in a day or 2. In this story the men are pushed to their limit both physically and mentally. It's powerful, yet very easy to read, compelling, with pictures in the center of the book of The ship that sunk, as well as the U-66 sub, and several survivors and the life raft. Later in life, the author makes it a point to find others asociated with the attack, both fellow survivors, as well as those Germans on the U-66 that sunk them. excellent easy read, HIGHLY recommend
