There is nothing wrong with the choke tube that affects its performance. It's well-machined and of the correct bore and tolerances. I have two objections that influenced my ratings. The first is price. It seems overpriced for what it is, particularly compared to flush tubes which are about 40% less. Second, I don't like the cut-outs that would seem to be for a wrench - which you don't need. My other chokes are all full-sized and have a smooth leading edge. I generally rest my barrel on my foot when shooting skeet and the sharp edges just needlessly gouge my shoe. The choke is hand-tightened. Had I found a smooth-edged option I would not have purchased this one. Wrenches might be useful for flush-mount chokes but not needed here.
