This is the only Multipurpose Platform I use. I had the smaller one before and that was fine, but this one is great for the long dies. The only thing to think about is....if this is the only one you use, it takes up more room to run it thru the machine. I had to rearrange my area....but it is well worth the effort. I'm SO glad I have this now. My craft jobs are so much better.

I purchased this platform to replace the original Vintaj cutting platform that never did perform "as directed" without some unique form of shims. I ran four different combinations/brands of dies and folders according to the directions and everything came out perfectly cut or pressed the first time. Amazing! Not only can you put more dies with paper on the extended platform for cutting, but since there are many longer dies and embossing folders being produced, you'll be ready to use them! I haven't received my longer die that I ordered from SMS yet, but I'm looking forward to using it on my new platform when it does...
