I bought this item to help complement my beginning collection of SPAWN comics and I'm glad I did. Like issue #3, #5 is a key volume story wise with several of the other issues long after it still have reference asterisks that lead all the way back to this comic. On the technical side of this review, I feel like #5 was one of those key issues art wise as well. It was one of the first that, I feel, started to evolve the drawing style that would late turn into this dark yet polished look that we can see in the later issues of today's printing. Overall I feel like this is an exceptional comic and should not be overlooked if you are a fan of SPAWN!
