If you really want a life of peace, you will need to be willing to change. Peace does not just fall on you, you must pursue, crave and go after it. Walking in peace must be a priority in our lives. In this book, Joyce writes about 21 ways to conquer anxiety, fear, and discontentment. Peacekeeper #1 is to trust the Lord of Peace. We must keep our focus on Jesus. He is the Lord of peace, and as we surrender our hearts and lives to Him, we will experience the peace that passes understanding. Peacekeeper #3 is to know your enemy. Are you confused about who our real enemy is? God's Word tells us that our enemy is not people or circumstances. Our enemy is Satan. Peacekeeper #5 is don't be double-minded. Indecisive people are always miserable. Decide to decide! Stick with your decisions unless you are definitely shown that they are wrong. Don't be afraid of what people think. Be confident and courageous. Peacekeeper #8 is to stop rushing. Life is too precious to rush through it. Learn to do things in God's rhythm, not the world's pace. Jesus was never in a hurry when He was here on earth, and God is absolutely not in a hurry now. Peacekeeper #9 is to accept yourself. We should know the value of being children of God and the position it gives us. We need to stop wrestling with ourselves, focus on our strengths and enter into peace. Peacekeeper #11 is keep your priorities in order. There are so many choices to which people can give their time and attention. Without clear priorities, people can become paralyzed with indecision. If we put God first in our finances, first in our time, first in our conversation, first in our thoughts, first in our decisions...our life will be a success. Peacekeeper #13 is avoid financial pressure. Every person can prosper. His guidelines are to tithe and give offerings and use wisdom in spending. God will always provide what we need if we are givers. Peacekeeper #21 is aggressively pursue peace. Pursuing peace means making an effort. The effort we make must be in Christ. Joyce Meyer said, "Now I have learned to change what I can change, accept what I cannot change, and I regularly seek wisdom to know the difference. What I can do, I do with God's help; what I cannot do, I turn over to Him so He can work. This leaves me free to enjoy my life." A valuable resource and Bible study guide on the subject of peace. Well done.Read full review
