You better not fall asleep with this baby cause you will get the shock of your life. This is no toy. Its very easy to shock your self using this tool. Its works great but it scares the hell out of me when I use it. The sparks are no fun.

Not the top of the line as far as static grass applicators go, but it is cheap, and seems fairly durable. Excellent for smaller projects. The screws near the head of the device conduct the electricity of the device and can shock you. I’d advise getting some electrical tape to cover them up.

Worked for an hour and then didn't work again. Had to break open the battery covering to open it and slot in the batteries. No big deal, don't need it I guess. Worked the evening that I tested it out and the next day couldn't get a current to go from the ground wire to the charged mesh. Unscrewed and opened it to see if all the wires were still properly attached. They were. Leads me to believe that the components are cheap and faulty. Wouldn't recemmend this to anyone.

Product works great for its intended purpose, however, the instruction, despite having a lot of useful safety precautions included, are not complete. The unit should defiantly be grounded when putting in and removing batteries. Got shocked twice because of this missing detail. Summary: works great but scary how easy it is to get shocked.

Others have had shocking experiences with it, I have none. When working with appliances that create high voltage as this does, you don't get careless. You use as directed, nothing less. The only complaint I have is that the 'power on' button label is reversed. Its on in the 'off' position! And vice-versa. If the red LED light doesn't come on when you press the green button, check the switch. Let the tool rest for several minutes before attempting to empty or refill the flocking chamber, or you will get shocked! I had to play with it right out of the box, put some flocking on a scrap piece of paper. I was so happy how well it worked.
