This book is excellent and is a must have if you are a serious vintage/antique jewelry collector or beginner. Excellent history offered regarding the period when the designs were made, the inspiration for the designs, the materials typically used, and hundreds of reference photos. Multiple references to identify metals, test materials of plastics bakelite and luctie, and identifying hallmarks of American, Scandanavian, Mexican, and more jewelry artist. I love everything about this book and this particular edition. If you find it, buy it. It is a keeper. -HH
