I thought this was an excellent show, sad to see it leave that is for sure, The actors and actress was great in this show, the show itself was fantastic, but i always thought these dvds were costly, but all dvds that are box sets are costly and when u try to resell who wants them to be honest w/u, u r like giving them away, unless u collect them. try to watch it on netflex, or watch the show itself. Otherwise it is a fantastic show which i loved as stated earlier.

I was really looking forward to watching this show. However, for a supposed brilliant surgeon, she comes across as a dumb sex kitten. Some of the characters are fun to watch, like the mayor who always speaks of himself in the third person, but it lacks the luster to make me want to get past the 2nd disc in season one. Just not for me.

Enjoyable to the nth degree. The improbable of a NY doctor coming to a small town in Alabama to start up a practice, only to find out that the late doctor there WILLED her his half of the practice and the culture conflict between improbble small town and impractically CUTE Big-City Doctor (not Beautiful, "Cute!") who takes her medicine seriously is an absolute joy to watch. PLYS....for those of us who have to finally admit that Country Music is as serious as basketball, the CS channels (on which this show runs) have filtered in some stupendous music (Scotty McCreery and Jane Deare, and --- although uncredited anywhere -- Skip Ewing) just adds to the appeal. Plus the inevitable triangle where She is attracted to one guy and a second is damn-near totally smitten by her. One would think that a small town in Alabama might have a problem with a black mayor...it is NOT a problem here and shouldn't be. Plus, living NEAR a small town in Eastern Kansas, I am laughing myself darn near into the hospital with the incredible number of festivals they have in BlueBell. Plus the truisms in real-life...Divorce is difficult (see Annabeth's problems). ANd another one, just because you are 100% faithful to a spouse, isn't the same as LOVING them 100%. And still furthermore, the periphrial relationship between Tom and Wanda just makes you wanna CHEER, almost like you do for the Flag on the Fourth-of-July. Get this thing and start watching it too; there is one heck-ofa-lot of good music on it and, heck, I'm a Beethoven Buff.Read full review
All pros great story line keeps your interest to want to know what will happen next with a great lead actor that engages in keeping the interest in all the other actors in making the towns people all having their dedication to the town and people in it for a place you would hope to live in some day.
