From a time when every drugstore had a rack of bright comics, Detective 367 is a nice example. Penceiler Carmine Infantino was in his glory period and his work is kicked up a notch by Sid Greene's rich inking. (Greene could make any artists work better, so on top of Infantino at this point it rises to classic.) What makes this issue particularly special is that Infantino does both cover and story. Through the mid 60's DC would often flash a great cover only to have a lackluster artist on the interior. Not the case here, making for a satisfying "old comic" that features some of the best work if the medium at that time.

This is a good addition to any Batman collection. Written by Gardner Fox and art by Carmine Infantino, this is a classic Silver Age Batman comic. It's not really a key issue, but has a cool story and an appearance by the Elongated Man. I would pick this up anytime you find it around $10 in a decent grade.
