The Antiques Roadshow Behind the Scenes is a terrific book. Our favorite appraisers and the host, Mark Walberg share many wonderful insights into the how The Antiques Roadshow TV show really comes together. To anyone who is a fan of the show, this is a wonderful guide to what's really happening with the appraisers and the weekly treasure hunters. I'm very glad that I was able to purchase this book on eBay.
I bought it to learn what the show is looking for and what they don't want to see (too common or not worthwhile.) And I bought it as a gift for my wife. She's glad to have it and likes it a lot. It's a quick and fun read. And I think it will be a good reference tool as we keep our eyes open for finds.
This was an interesting book to read but the show was more fun to watch when I didnt know what was going on behind the scenes.
