The putter is the club you use the most period. I bought my first Odyssey Putter 6 years ago and have replaced every club in my bag except my trusted putter. My league partner has a cheesy putter and Im buying this for him. We lost a match a couple weeks ago by 2 shots and we (my partner) may as well have been using a croquet mallet. After he 4 putted twice ive decided to take matters into my own hands and buy him a balanced high quality putter at a fraction of the cost 2 or 3 years ago. You will not regret buying an Odessey Putter. The weight, balance , alignment and feel breed confidence. I know I have a chance to make every putt. Odessey Putters are simply the best!
I have always preferred a blade style putter, I always mess around all types of putters. I was never much a fan huge bulky mallet putters, but this shape caught my eye and I tried it out so I eventually made the transition over. For me it provides the feel of a blade but the power of the mallet, but everybody is different so see for yourself.

I recently visited a local golf shop with one of my friends (we constantly buy new golf clubs and putters.) After having a horrible putting year(while going through a dozen different putters) I decided to try all of the putters on their rack to see if I could pickup a game changer, and I did when I came to a Odyssey White Hot XG Marxman. This thing shows a line like nothing I have ever stood over. I hit 5 of 6 from 12 feet and that was when I stopped looking at the others on the rack. To see this thing on the rack I wasn't drawn to it. It looked different shapped like T similar to an anser with a big metal slope running down its back. Put with it before you look to close at it, Its not my style so If I had not picked it up while I was trying all of them I probably wouldn't have tried it. Im glad I did, great line and a well ballanced putter. My buddy has one to know.lolRead full review
This putter is the best of both worlds - I prefer to putt with a blade putter but like the visual alignment aid of a mallet putter. The extension behind the blade makes this putter visual appealing when setting up a putt. I aim the line on my ball with my target and then line the large line of the putter up with my ball, this gives me a lot of confidence that I have the putt on the line I want it to be on. Since I'm confident my putt is aligned, all I have to concentrate on is good speed control. I also like the weight of the putter and the way it rolls the ball. I'd highly recommend this putter. Finally, the Odyssey White Hot XG Marxman Mallet Putter is very similar to this putter but, to me, they feel very different. Actually, I have the mallet and will be selling it because this putter stays in my bag. Play well!Read full review
This would be my putter this season. It's very easy to align. What I like about this putter is weight. I had been using two ball putter for a couple of years and worked ok for me. But it was too heavy for me control the right distance. I understand that heavier putters are popular these days, but how much weight you want is remains indivisual preferances. My undersranding is that heavier putters help putt straighter than lighter ones. But you compromise distance control. Odyssey White Hot XG Marxman Blade Putter is just right for me.
