Once again Tom Petty proves what a master musician and wordsmith he is. This movie soundtrack contains some of the best songs Petty ever wrote, including "Walls" and "Angel Dream" (2 & 4). if you enjoy Tom Petty's music, this is a nice CD to have or add to your musical collection.

Mostly, I just needed a b-day present for my sister and she likes Tom Petty, I asked her if she'd like it, she said yes, even though she'd never heard of the movie or the album, it was only a buck, so I bought it for her. She liked it. I didn't think it was all that bad either, even though I'm not a Tom Petty fan. Sounds like he grew up a bit from his "Refugee" days. Didn't like that stuff, but the Alice In Wonderland video was cool! And so was the, "Let's Get To The Point" / "A Girl On LSD" single. Dale
This Album is pretty good and I like that the majority of the songs are vocal songs as opposed to instrumental. However I wouldn't label this album as some of Tom Petty's best work. There are few really good songs on the album but the rest sound like fillers to me. I suppose that comes with having to write lyrical songs to a movie. I would suggest alternative purchases if you are looking at his later works to buy such as Echo and Last DJ.
Love this album yes it’s pretty weak, but it’s not the weakest of TP’s albums sure there’s a few good ones on this cd buy it if you love Tom Petty!

This is a great CD of Tom & there are several songs that are recognizable, but the best part is the ones I've never heard are fantastic! Definitely recommend!
