It is awsome to see how GOD sows together a person! AWSOME we are truely fearfully and wonderfully made! I really enjoyed seeing how the children's personalities become evident even in the first months, by the reactions they give resulting from stimuli. I also enjoyed the funny characters they were blessed to catch on the footage. One thing I though was foolish was the "PC" statements like "its not a person yet" and "the fetus..." rather then just calling a spade a spade, the person developing is a person! Also I was offended by the religious philosophy of evolution was presented as fact with "millions of years" balogney, and relation the percentage of genes to animals, like their is a direct relation. Besides that junk, its good for people to see babies aren't a part of a womans body, but a guest.Read full review
Its amazing what computer science can do these days! Duplicating what an embryo and fetus looks like while still inside the womb is just simply amazing. This dvd was very informative and helps soon to be moms to better visualize what is going on inside their bodies. I would recommend this video to anyone who is curious about pregnancy progression or for any first time mother. I would also recommend it to repeat pregnant mommies who just might need a refresher course!
This is an amazing peek into a baby's life inside the uterus. National Geographic has done a wonderful job presenting new information about the infant's senses and learning abilities prior to birth. I had stumbled across this program on TV and immediately did a search to see where it was available for purchase. I work with first time Mom's and their families and this DVD is very helpful for assisting the families in realizing just how much they can influence their new family member even before the birth occurs. I highly recommend this DVD for anyone involved in the care of expectant parents and for parents themselves. The presentation is easily understood and does not require knowledge of medical terms.
I bought this DVD to replace the VHS tape that I have used for years in my 7th grade life science class. The program is well done and very informational. The students understand the material presented and it is presented in an appropriate way. The only thing that I do not like about it is that it is rather lengthy and I have to show it over a 2 day period. However, considering the amount of information offered the length is quite understandable.
The movie was exactly what I was looking for education wise. I saw this movie in class and was amazed at all the detail, therefore had to have it. the price was great since I looked this movie up on National Geographic website and it was more than I was willing to pay. The box though was completely crushed and was not worth keeping the movie in. I don't recall the box being damaged in the description when I went to buy this movie. The movie should of been sent in a bubble wrapper not the scanty wrapping it was packed with.
